Katherine Rother Wins SDG Impact Award

Congratulations to our postdoctoral researcher Dr. Katherine Rother winning our faculty's SDG Award for her outstanding dissertation on "Empirical and Conceptual Insights on the Role of Costs in Pro-Environmental Behaviors", supervised by Prof. René Algesheimer. Her research makes a decisive contribution to the implementation of several of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

With the SDG Award the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatic honors scholarly work at the Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral levels that contributes to the achievement of UN's SDGs and thus has impact on society, the environment, and the economy. The awards were presented at the Graduation Ceremony on June 6 2026.

Dr. Rother explains the findings of her research and her motivation to focus on sustainability in marketing in a short video.
