Inez joined UZH as Head of Learning and Outreach of the Center for Leadership in the Future of Work (CLFW) in September of 2020 to build the educational and learning agenda of the Research Center.
She joined the team after three years at the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she worked with the Good Companies Good Jobs Initiative, the Taskforce on the Work of the Future and the Innovation Initiative on generating and communicating new insights on the future of work, work-based learning and organizational change.
Inez is an award-winning instructor with extensive experience in developing residential, online and blended courses. She holds instructional certificates by the UK Academy of Higher Education and MIT's Teaching and Learning Lab and has taught at numerous renowned higher education institutions in Europe, Asia and the Unites States. In 2019 and 2020Inez was a co-producer and instructor of MIT's massive open online course (MOOC) "Shaping Work of the Future".
Inez holds a PhD in International Relations (LSE), a Masters in Law and Business (Bucerius Law School Hamburg & WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management) and a Magistra Artium in Political Science, History and North-American Studies (University of Bonn). She was a visiting scholar at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po) in Grenoble and Paris, has received fellowships from the German National Science Foundation (Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and is a 2019 Young Leader of Atlantikbrueke e.V.
Inez is looking forward to collaborating with UZH's academics and national and international partners on tackling the big questions that leaders, corporations and societies are facing as work continues to change.
