Benjamin J. Hartmann is a Ph.D. Candidate in Business Administration at the department of Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Management (EMM) and the Media Management and Transformation Centre (MMTC) at Jönköping International Business School. He received a M.Sc. in International Marketing and Brand Management from Lund University, Sweden as well as a Dipl.Kfm. (equivalent to M.Sc. in Business Management) with majors in Marketing and Leadership from the Technical University Berlin, Germany. Before joining JIBS, Benjamin has gained experience in marketing & innovation consulting and worked with international clients on projects including corporate social media & brand community, brand valuation, trend scouting, and open source development. Benjamin also has worked as an assistant lecturer for statistics at the Department for Quantitative Methods at the Technical University Berlin, Germany. Benjamin is the representative for doctoral students of JIBS, and has been voted third doctoral student representative for the Doctoral Studies Subcommittee (DSS) as well as the Research Activity Subcommittee (RAS).
