Welcome to the Chair of Mobility and Digital Innovation Management

We study how organizations innovate in times of major technological and societal change. Our research examines the strategies, structures, and processes through which organizations develop and implement technology-based innovation. Our work focuses on how organizations shape their organizational structures, capabilities, and collaboration patterns in response to transformative developments such as the electrification of mobility, the growing importance of digital technologies, and increasing sustainability demands. We primarily employ empirical approaches, and much of our research is anchored in the automotive and broader mobility sectors, while also extending to other industries facing similar transformation dynamics.
