Welcome Back to Fall Term 2025

We are excited to welcome everyone back on campus and to kick off a new semester filled with inspiring learning opportunities, academic exchange, and new faces at the Chair of Organization and Management at the University of Zurich!

This week, we were happy to welcome Agnesa Halili, who joins us as our new semester assistant, and Sadi Kurt, our new researcher in residence. We look forward to the ideas, perspectives, and energy they bring to our team!

At the same time, we had to say goodbye to Mathias Bienz, who supported us as semester assistant during the spring term and has now completed his studies. Thank you, Mathias, for your great work — and all the best for your next chapter!

For the fall term, we’re thrilled to offer a diverse and engaging teaching portfolio:

Change Management (Bachelor Lecture)
We are happy to welcome many of you already this week to our undergraduate Change Management lecture, which will kick off on Thursday.

Case Studies: Organizational Consulting (Master Seminar)
Twelve selected students will tackle real-life challenges at a wide range of consultancies and companies. We’re looking forward to the exciting challenges and creative solutions ahead!

PhD Seminars
As part of our Distinguished Scholars Seminar Series, we are excited to welcome Joep Cornelissen for a seminar on “Developing Theory”, where he will help students craft and refine the theoretical aspects of their academic work.
Additionally, PhD students can present and discuss their research at the upcoming OMTF Conference in Lugano at USI Università della Svizzera italiana – a fantastic opportunity to receive feedback from peers and senior scholars from across Switzerland.

We look forward to seeing many of you in our lectures, seminars, and events throughout the semester!
