Guest Lecture Peter Werder
Last week, we had the great pleasure of welcoming Dr. Peter Werder, CEO of Kantonsspital Obwalden (KSOW), to our lecture on “Change Management” within the CAS Medical Leadership program.
After a short introduction to his personal background and the structure of KSOW, Dr. Werder shared with us his personal experiences with managing change in hospitals. In particular, we discussed with him his current project of initiating and managing the integration of KSOW into the Luzerner Kantonsspital (LUKS).
Thank you very much for sharing your insights on leading change and for giving us the opportunity to reflect on the strengths and weaknesses of established change management tools and concepts in the face of this exciting change project.
