Prof. Dr. Thomas Zwick
Background: Thomas Zwick studied at the University Regensburg and the Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. In december 1993 he graduated in economics at the University Regensburg. From february 1994 to january 1998 he worked as research assistant and in july 1998 acquired his PhD at the University of Maastricht, thesis: "Unemployment and human capital acquistion". From february 1998 Thomas Zwick was senior research assitant at the Center for Economic Studies (ZEW) Mannheim, working in the research area "Labor markets, personnel management and social security". In december 2008 he acquied his habilitation at the University of Zurich, thesis: "Productivity effects of personnel management measures". In 2009 he became full-professor for human resource management at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich.
Research interests: microeconomic and microeconometric labor market analysis, research in qualification and education, personnel economics.
