Courses
The course offering in the Major study program Business Administration combines scientific foundation with practical application. The courses are offered in various formats and promote both theoretical understanding and the development of practical skills.
Teaching Formats
The courses are offered in various formats:
- Lectures: Lectures serve to convey teaching content. They can communicate both fundamentals as well as current research findings.
- Exercises: In exercises, you deepen your understanding of the lecture material through working on tasks and case studies.
- Lecture with Exercises: A lecture with exercises conveys knowledge in the lecture portion, which is then deepened in exercises through working on tasks and case studies. The exercise sessions can have separate appointments or be integrated into the lecture sessions.
- Seminars: A course with high interaction between students and instructors. Seminars serve to deepen what has been learned and give you the opportunity to work independently on a given topic and present on it. The number of participants is usually limited, and attendance is mandatory for all participants. A separate early application may be necessary.
Assessment Methods
Performance assessment varies depending on the module. The specific assessment method and examination date are indicated in the module description in the course catalog.
