Mariano Calderon is a PhD student in economics and Management at the University of Zurich. He is national from Guatemala and has previous worked as pre-doctoral research fellow in Economic History and Development at the University of Göttingen and as a consultant for the International Labour Organization (ILO). Before joining UZH, he was completing a Master's in Public Policy and Development at the Paris School of Economics.
He's interested in applied microeconomics, focusing on human capital formation, labour markets and migration.
