Evgeny Petrov

Welcome to my webpage!

I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Zurich.

Prior to joining the University of Zürich, I worked as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. I received a Ph.D. in Finance at the Swiss Finance Institute at EPFL in 2017.

My research is in analytical financial accounting and auditing, focusing on voluntary disclosure, earnings management, and information spillovers.
