Prof. Andreas Georg Scherer receives honorary doctorate from the University of Neuchâtel
On November 1, 2025, Professor Andreas Georg Scherer was awarded an honorary doctorate from the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland).
«La Faculté des sciences économiques distingue Andreas Georg Scherer pour sa contribution décisive et avant-gardiste au développement de la recherche en gestion éthique et responsable des entreprises multinationales, et pour le dialogue qu’il a su établir entre académie, profession et politique».
With this distinction, the Faculty recognizes Professor Scherer’s outstanding and forward-looking contributions to research in the field of ethical and responsible management of multinational companies, as well as his special commitment to fostering dialogue between academia, practice, and politics.
This is the second honorary doctorate awarded to Professor Scherer. He had already been honored in 2020 by the University of Hamburg (Germany) for his academic achievements.
