- Roman Mäder has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from ETH Zurich. From 1990-1996 he was assistant professor of computer science at ETH Zurich. Mäder is a co-founder of Wolfram Research and original developer of Mathematica, where he specializes in programming methods and parallelization of computations.
Mäder runs his own consulting business providing support for computer-aided mathematics, particularly for Finance.
