- Lucio is currently an external PhD student in Management and Economics. His research focuses on the application of machine learning in the management of insurance companies.
Lucio is a qualified actuary, member of the Swiss Association of Actuaries (SAV). He holds a degree in actuarial science (University of Buenos Aires, 2006). Lucio has worked for Zurich Insurance Group level since 2009, in both risk and ALM roles. Before joining Zurich, Lucio worked as a quantitative analyst in the hedge fund industry and as an actuarial consultant for Watson Wyatt (now Willis Towers Watson). Lucio has also worked as a teaching assistant and teaching fellow for the University of Buenos Aires in the mathematics department. Lucio is a certified Financial Risk Manager (by the Global Association of Risk Professionals, 2010).
