Dr. Carlo Campajola

Summary

Carlo Campajola earned a M.Sc. degree in 2015 from the International Master Programme in Physics of Complex Systems jointly organized by Politecnico di Torino, the International School of Advanced Studies (SISSA) and Campus Paris Saclay. He then started a PhD in Quantitative Finance at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, and is now a research fellow at the same institution while still completing his PhD work, working on information spreading and herding behaviour in financial markets under the supervision of Prof. Fabrizio Lillo and Dr. Daniele Tantari. Currently he is a guest researcher at the URPP Social Networks group, collaborating with Prof. Dr. Claudio J. Tessone on research on the micro-economical properties of the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency economies and on the detection of speculative and irrational behaviour by market players.
