Michael Ribers joined the Chair for Entrepreneurship in the summer 2011 parallel to enrollment in the Management and Economics Fast Track PhD program. Prior to joining Ulrich Kaiser's research group, Michael completed his bachelor in Physics at the University of Copenhagen in 2009 and his bachelor in Economics in 2011, also at the University of Copenhagen. In addition, Michael worked as a research assistant at the Centre for Economic and Business Research at the Department of Economics at Copenhagen Business School.
Michael's main research interests are in Applied Microeconometrics, Empirical Industrial Organization, and Health Economics. In particular, he has focused on the emerging problem of antibiotic resistance and rational prescribing.
