Dr. Donata Bessey

Research Assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr. Uschi Backes-Gellner

Background: Donata graduated from the University of Tübingen in 2005 where she majored in Economics with a minor in Latin American Studies. In 2002/2003, she spent two semesters as an exchange student at the Université de Lausanne.

From 2006 - 2010, she was a PhD student at the University of Zurich. In 2008/09, she stayed as a Visiting Student Researcher at UC Berkeley's Institute for Research on Labor and Employment.

Since May 2010, Donata is a post-doctoral fellow at Seoul National University's Department of Economics.

Research Interests: Economics of education: risky behavior of youths, investment decisions in human capital
