Workshop "Pursuing an Academic Career across Continents"
A group of PhD students from the Institute of Business Administration at the University of Zurich, Silvia Teuber (Chair of Prof. Backes-Gellner), Alexandra Arnold (Chair of Prof. Staffelbach), and Karen Ariane Schweg (Chair of Prof. Seidl), has organized a Workshop on "Pursuing an Academic Career across Countries" from September 25-27, 2011.
Co-Organizer and Speaker was Professor Edward Zajac (Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management) who was supported by Uschi Backes-Gellner (University of Zurich), Shaz Ansari (Cambridge University/Erasmus University), Peer Fiss (University of Southern California), Razvan Lungeanu (Northwestern University), Thomas Mellewigt (Freie Universität Berlin), Kim-Chi Trinh (National University of Singapore), Anja Tuschke (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich), and Franz Wohlgezogen (Northwestern University).
Doctoral students and young researchers from the University of Zurich (and the ETH, LMU Munich, and Freie Universität Berlin) had theopportunity to present their own research projects, to get in personal contact with leading researchers in the field of Management during the rich networking program, and to exchange experience with other PhD students from international top universities.
