  August 2017: Together with Vern Glaser (University of Alberta), I organized the PDW "SAP meets Routine Dynamics" at the Academy of Management (AoM) Meeting in Atlanta. In addition, the  SAP Interest Group and the membership comittee that I headed for the last three years won the AoM Diversity and Inclusion Award this year.
  July 2017: Together with my colleagues Violetta Splitter, Tania Weinfurtner and Shenghui Ma I organized the SAP Community Day at the EGOS Colloqium 2017 in Copenhagen. We had interesting discussions on different theoretical perspectives on SAP research and large social phenomena.
  May 2017: I've been appointed as a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Management.
  February 2017: My paper co-authored with David Seidl on "Emerging Intentionality in Routine Dynamics: A Pragmatist View" has been accepted at the Academy of Management Journal.
  December 2016: Davide Nicolini and I organized a two-day workshop on "

Connections in Action: Keeping Track of Large Social Phenomena using Relational and ‘Micro-sociological’ approaches" at the University of Warwick. The workshop featured Barbara Czarniawska (University of Gotenburg), Paula Jarzabkowski (Cass Business School) and Jennifer Howard-Grenville (University of Cambridge) as keynote speakers and was friendly sponsored by the Society of Management Studies.

  September 2016: I presented my research on the ecologies of organizational routines at Umeå School of Business and Economics, Umeå University, Sweden. Together with the research group of Triple E.D. who focuses on extreme environments, we had many interesting discussions about routine dynamics, decision-making and risk-taking in such environments.
