Our now part-time team member, former PhD and postdoctoral student Hannes Ullrich whose present main affiliation is with DIW Berlin was awarded an ERC starting grant yesterday. It is a major achievement in any scientists’ career and we are very proud of both Hannes and our freshly graduated PhD Michael Ribers since the successful application is based on their joint research on antibiotic resistance. Congratulations!
