Ulrich Kaiser had his paper 'Skill Heterogeneity in Startups and its Development Over Time' accepted for publication in Small Business Economics: An Entrepreneurship Journal. The paper is joint with Bettina Müller of the Centre for European Economic Research, Mannheim.
Hannes Ullrich has his paper "Career Prospects and Effort Incentives: Evidence from Professional Soccer" accepted at Management Science. The paper is joint work with Jeanine Miklós-Thal (Simon School, U Rochester).
Ulrich Kaiser had his paper "Does the Mobility of R&D Labor Increase Innovation?" accepted for publication in the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization. The paper is joint with Hans Christian Kongsted and Thomas Rønde of Copenhagen Business School.
Hannes Ullrich has his joint paper with Jeanine Miklós-Thal (U Rochester) "Belief Precision and Effort Incentives in Promotion Contests" accepted at Economic Journal.
Christian Peukert to publish in Research Policy. Christian Peukert has his paper "R&D Outsourcing and Intellectual Property Infringement" accepted at Research Policy. The paper is joint work with Philipp Buss at Ulm University.
Ulrich Kaiser's joint paper with Nikolaj Malchow-Møller "Is self-employment really a bad experience?", published in Journal of Business Venturing 2011, received the Stephan Schrader Prize 2014 - Munich Best Paper Award in Entrepreneurship Studies. The prize is endowed with 5000 Euro and was presented to Ulrich Kaiser at a prize ceremony held at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition.

Ulrich Kaiser and Hannes Ullrich had their paper "Regulation of Pharmaceutical Prices: Evidence from a Reference Price Reform in Denmark" accepted at Journal of Health Economics. The paper is joint work with Susan Mendez, a former chair member who now is with the University of Melbourne, and Thomas Roende of Copenhagen Business School.
The Institute for Strategy and Business Economics at the University of Zurich will be hosting the 6th workshop on Media Economics on Oct. 24 and 25, 2008.
